Delete your account & data.

You have full control over your data at Study Chinese. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and all related data, including for accounts created through Facebook, Google, or Apple.
1.How to request deletion
Through the app (fastest)
Open Settings → Account → Delete Account in the Study Chinese app, then confirm. Your account and data are immediately scheduled for deletion.
By email
Send an email to hello@studychinese.id from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify and process your request.

- Your account profile: email, display name, username, and profile photo.
- All learning data: XP, streaks, trophies, word progress, and practice history.
- Social login connections (Facebook, Google, Apple) to your account.
- Jade Class assignments and progress linked to your account.
3.How long it takes
We delete your data within 30 days at the latest of your request being verified. Some technical backup copies may persist briefly before they too are removed from our systems. We may retain limited information where required by law.
4.Facebook login users
If you sign in with Facebook, you can revoke the app's access at any time through Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. To delete data we've already stored, use one of the methods in section 1 above.
