A beginner’s guide to learning Chinese
How should a beginner start learning Mandarin?
Start with pinyin and the four tones, then learn useful words such as greetings and numbers. Listen to the audio, repeat aloud and connect each character with its meaning. Set aside 5–10 minutes a day: review familiar words before adding new ones, then read a short sentence.
How can I use the app to study for HSK?
Choose the classic HSK 1–6 path or HSK 3.0 Levels 1–9 to match your goal. Combine vocabulary practice with listening, reading and writing instead of memorizing translations alone. Start at a suitable level, revisit difficult material and use mock exams for practice. Higher levels, HSK 3.0 and mock exams require Plus.
Which languages are used for lesson explanations?
The app is available in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Español.
